About Our Superstar

Clarence Lloyd is a Vice President with Southwest Michigan First and serves as the Director for the SMF Chamber of Commerce, covering all of greater Kalamazoo County. His business and community leadership experience spans nearly three decades where he has excelled in repairing underperforming teams, building new ones, and providing servant leadership for companies ranging from five employees to Fortune 50.

Clarence is originally from Detroit, moved to Kalamazoo to attend Western Michigan University, and is a proud Bronco alum. He is raising three sons with his wife, Monica, of nearly 20 years. He enjoys having conversations about the stuff you’re not supposed to talk about, can beat you in any music trivia game, and can’t wait to once again cheer on his Detroit Lions.
