Crawlspace Comedy Theatre presents the Superstar Song Show. For those “in the know” improv-wise, this could be described as a song–based Armando. ​In the show, a singer/songwriter will share what inspired the writing of one of their original song​s, they will then perform that song live. Improvisors will then perform scenes inspired by the song. The show will feature 4-5 of the musician’s original work. The mixture of song and improv scene work will produce a collection of experiences that will find unexpected connections and hilarious moments.

A funk-rock band based in Kalamazoo, MI, Knee Deep Shag is comprised of five members: lead singer Matt Gross, guitarist Phil Barry, bassist Mike Ferust, drummer Jeff Moehle, and keyboardist Rob Cookman. The band performed with Domestic Problems at the Intersection in Grand Rapids on New Year’s Eve, 2006. Their song “Contentment Couch” was also played on CBS’ Early Show on March 31st, 2007 during a segment about couches.
