Barton James

Barton James comes to us from the Detroit area but has lived in Kalamazoo for half his life. His comedy career started in 2017 when he started doing open mics in the area…..6 years later, he is still doing occasional open mic and has made little or no progress on his comedy career. He considers this a huge accomplishment and enjoys doing comedy whenever he is able.

Barton joined the Marine Corps, open contract, shortly after high school and served from 1997-2001 as an 0861- Artillery Fire Support Man/Scout Observer with Lima Battery 3rd Battalion 10th Marines.
In 1999 he was attached to 3rd Battalion 8th Marine Infantry Regiment and as part of the 26th MEU was part of the first ground force into Kosovo as part of Operation Joint Guardian.

He is currently married and a father or 2, stepdad to 1. All boys. Life is good.

The Beaveman Bio

Little is known about the Beaveman prior to 1991 when the first rumored sightings took place. His movements were tracked from Ft. Benning, GA to Damstadt, Germany. He then resurfaced again at Ft. Bragg, NC. Much like the Mothman of WV, sightings were sporadic from that time until the early 2000’s. Rumors surfaced of a similar individual, but no sightings were truly confirmed until audio evidence emerged in July of 2018 in the form of a comedy podcast known as The Slaptail Squad. It was confirmed that the illusive individual known as the Beaveman truly existed. His foray into the field of entertainment continues in the form of stand-up comedy. David Steves

David is a high energy, good natured divorcee who brings light and humor to his single-dad life. As a Veteran of the US Army, David finds humor can keep engagement high even in the toughest of times. With a unique relatability, even as a late-bloomer in the comedy community, David relies on his personal stories from childhood, deployments, and raising two amazing daughters. David has featured at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, performed at LaughFest, and is a co-host of the Good Vs. Evil Podcast.

Jason Fuller

Jason Fuller has lived an interesting life, this veteran, former pro wrestler and now stand up comic has been entertaining audiences in many different ways for years. His comedy is about his life’s adventures with being married the most interesting adventure of his life.

Adam Cameron

Adam is a ten and a half year naval submarine service veteran and a graduate of Illinois State University. Yet he still finds time to be that Han Solo type scoundrel. He is definitely, “America’s Uncle.” He has been doing stand up comedy, on and off, since 2015.

Big Shorty

Comedian Big Shorty, born Kevin Kellar has been in the comedy game since 2011 opening for the likes of Carl Payne, Mike Bonner, and Don DC Curry just to name a few. He has been blessed to perform on several Funny Bone stages across the country through his comedic endeavors. Big Shorty feels as though laughter is not only MEDICINE but one of the greatest forms of therapy. He is the LITTLE comedian with HUGE punchlines!
