Group Mind: The magic of pattern building
Description: The DNA of a longform show is found in the patterns we play with. By deepening our understanding and strengthening our control of these patterns the ensemble can connect, move, and anticipate with greater ease and apparent effortlessness, resulting in more memorable and magical shows. In this workshop we will introduce tools for understanding patterns and the slight of hand that can come from hyperlistening as a group.

BIO: Annie & Levin O’Connor met and began performing together in 2005 at iO West in Los Angeles. In each other they found a kindred spirit with a deep passion for improv rooted in the belief that the practice of improvising is good for humans. It is their mission to help share improv with as many people as they can reach. They began performing their two person show, NOW w/ Annie & Levin, in 2007 and have gone on to tour internationally, teach, write curriculium and more recently have opened Last Best Comedy in Bozeman, MT where they continue to teach and perform.
