Description

All Ears After Dark & Improvised Golden Age of Radio

All Ears Theatre is delighted to collaborate as All Ears After Dark with our KNAC neighbors Crawlspace Eviction for an evening of comedy celebrating the Golden Age of Radio. All Ears will present a 30-minute, three act audio play, “Love Games,” written by Gordon M. Bolar and directed by Martie Groat.

All Ears After Dark is a departure from AET’s usual family fare. In these three short stories for grown-ups only:

Celia makes a game out of the annoying telemarketer interruptions. Max reluctantly plays along, discovering that everyone can be a winner, in “The Home Version.”

Bobby and Carol, a tough talking couple out of a bad film noir script, square off in a battle between a potato gun and a banana phone. Who will come out on top, in “Hard-Boiled.”

Fred and Ralph quibble over the rules of their horseshoe match until a sudden, serious turn of events provides a reminder of what really matters in the world, in “Leaners and Limits.”
